I can name any number of Presidents you want. Thing is, they won't let me change the birth certificates.

I am truly amazed, Tim, at your stunning political reversal. A few historical notes, though: James Buchanan was a much worse president than Martin Van Buren, who was, like yourself, a product of upstate New York. Franklin Pierce was no great shakes, either, but I am sure there was something about losing a child in a train wreck on the way to Washington for his inauguration that could have been a bit of a distraction. I do think that many of those who argue that Barack Obama is the worst president of all time probably can't name ten other presidents (Me? OK, sure. Adams, Harrison, Johnson, Roosevelt, Bush). And they probably don't know that Grover Cleveland was the only man ever to be an ex-president and a future president at the same time. But, hey, remember someone important once said that if you learn from the mistakes of the past, you don't get a chance to repeat them. Or something like that. Sure glad I'm not a journalist any more.
