I love this. And the impact of your expose' can be seen already, what with the NFL and the Refs striking a deal last night. Well done, Tim!

Very noble of a Seattle-area resident like you, Mr. Jones, to even consider that a Seahawks triumph might be, even in the slightest way, flawed. Sure, the ref's call ranks up there with Neville Chamberlain's remarks about "peace in our time" after meeting with "Mr. Hitler" in Munich in 1938. But think of the positive side! Sales at Best Buy might finally pull out of their plunge because of all the football fans forced to buy new flatscreens after destroying theirs in beer-fueled rage. No falling asleep around the water cooler THIS week! Finally, something for the sports-talk radio hosts to discuss other than the identity of the New York Yankees as children of Satan (wait; that was the Christian-talk station, wasn't it?). And, of course, a benchmark for future outrageous referee calls ("That was the worst call since that Green Bay-Seattle game back in 2012!") Note: Foot Locker shares plunged 1.3 percent on the New York Stock Exchange.
